The European Regional Qualifier for Dota 2’s TI 2026 runs June 21–28, 2026, featuring 16 teams battling for four slots at The International 15 (TI15). Heavy favorites include Team Spirit, Team Vision (PARIVISION), Nigma Galaxy, and Natus Vincere (NAVI), along with other invited squads and eight teams from Open Qualifiers. Notably, Valve merged Western and Eastern Europe into one unified bracket – the largest of any region – meaning these 16 teams (8 invited, 8 open qualifiers) compete in a double-elimination format where every match is best-of-three.

Teams and Rosters The international 2026
Sixteen teams are in this closed qualifier: 8 invited teams and 8 teams from the Open Qualifiers. The invited teams (confirmed by BLAST and TechTimes) are Team Vision (PARIVISION), Team Spirit, MOUZ, Natus Vincere, Nigma Galaxy, Virtus.pro, enjoy, and Power Rangers. They join eight Open-Qualifier survivors: HULIGANI, Rune Eaters, Yellow Submarine, VP.Prodigy, Team Bald, IC x Insanity, MODUS, and 4ikibamboni. Together they form a deep field – indeed, TechTimes writes that “TEAM VISION, Spirit, MOUZ, and Natus Vincere” in one bracket make Europe “effectively a second major tournament”.
Team Spirit’s young carry Illya “Yatoro” (above) is one of the qualifier’s top players. Spirit’s roster (Yatoro, Larl, Collapse, “not me”, rue) re-enters the TI picture after an offseason coaching change, and on Day 1 Yatoro’s Terrorblade performance helped Spirit sweep VP.Prodigy.

Emil “Satanic” Zhora (pictured) anchors the former PARIVISION lineup, now competing as TEAM VISION. Along with No[o]ne– and company, Team Vision bypassed open qualifiers due to Valve’s invite list and is regarded as a clear contender.
Other invitees feature star power as well. Nigma Galaxy fields veterans like SumaiL and GH, who helped Nigma cruise past Rune Eaters 2-0. Natus Vincere (gotthejuice, Niku, pma, daze, Riddys) are TI newcomers working to add to NAVI’s storied legacy. Virtus.pro (Timado, Abed, SaberLight, Hellscream, Fly) likewise has playoff pedigree. MOUZ (Crystallis, MidOne, BOOM, yamich, panto) and enjoy (v1olent`, squad1x, swedenstrong, Rein, etc.) are also invited.
The Open-Qualifier teams can’t be discounted. Yellow Submarine and Rune Eaters have shown upsets in past seasons, and in fact Yellow knocked out MOUZ on June 22. Team Bald (with coach Janne “Gorgc” Stefanovski) and HULIGANI also advanced through the open bracket. Dot Esports notes that “Team Spirit and TEAM VISION are the teams to beat”, but veteran squads like NAVI, Nigma and Virtus.pro bring experience – and Open Qualifier squads like Yellow Submarine and Rune Eaters can be dangerous dark horses.
Format for The international 2026

Valve’s unified EU qualifier uses a double-elimination bracket for 16 teams. This means a team must lose twice to be eliminated, and all matches are Best-of-3. Importantly, there are four TI15 spots on the line – the most of any region. The two teams that win the Upper Bracket Round 3 each qualify directly for TI15, while the remaining two spots will go to the two winners of Lower Bracket Round 4. In practice, that means any team making it to the final UB round (June 25) locks in a TI berth, and the LB final matches (June 28) will fill out the last slots. (By contrast, other regions like SA/SEA only have one slot each, making Europe’s qualifier uniquely high-stakes.)
